Do Not Knock Association of America is a nonprofit organization that aims to help its esteemed members and humble donors eliminate door-to-door solicitation by for-profit firms. We are on a mission to expand our list of members of the National Do Not Knock List. This will help in achieving our main purpose of local people having the legal right to choose whether they want to receive for-profit salespeople at their doorstep or if they wish not to.
We strongly believe that everyone has the right to have a choice in such situations as some profit solicitors can become a nuisance causing unnecessary disturbance. Our unifying and dedicated mission is to have a National Do Not Knock List passed into law. This law will be implemented for all sorts of people from any background, status, or religion and political affiliations.

We are just looking out for consumers based in the US by taking action against unnecessary and bothersome profit solicitors who market their products and services endlessly. Whether you own a residential property or a business place, this can become a real issue.
Just like the National Do Not Call List, this law will only be implemented for for-profit companies and not for salespeople or organizations who are spreading religious, political, and social information or awareness. SETTING UP A DO NOT KNOCK REGISTRY
A "Do Not Knock Registry" list is applicable for residents and business owners based in Washington D.C. and other parts of the U.S. You can sign up for the registry and avail a ‘do not knock’ sign that can placed outside your property. This will restrict solicitors and peddlers from coming to your premises and bothering you. Please do keep in mind that political party people and representatives of religious organizations, who are distributing information door-to-door are not a part of the exempted list of people on the registry!
If you are an owner or lawful tenant of a residence located within the metropolitan government, then you can register on the Do Not Knock list provided by DNKAA and stop solicitors from coming to your address. It is that easy!
